Get your free Vedic astrology birth chart (Jyotish kundali) with sidereal planetary positions, nakshatra placements, and Bhava houses. No sign-up required.
Vedic astrology, also called Jyotish, uses the sidereal zodiac rather than the tropical zodiac used in Western astrology, which shifts most planetary placements by about 24 degrees due to the ayanamsha correction (this tool uses the commonly adopted Lahiri ayanamsha). Enter your birth date, time, and location to get your rashi (sign) for each planet, your nakshatra placements, your Bhava houses, and your current Vimshottari dasha period, the planetary time cycle Jyotish uses to time when a chart's themes are most active. Because the sidereal and tropical zodiacs measure from different reference points, your Vedic Sun sign will often differ from your familiar Western Sun sign.
